Local storage, model providers, export, and delete: what Excellent keeps on your machine, what your agent still sends out, and how to remove it.

Excellent runs locally by default and records work on your machine.

Expected result: Excellent prints the runtime it resolved, the local database path, detected providers and coding CLIs, the keystore state, and whether telemetry is on. Telemetry is opt-in and off by default.

Your agent still sends context to its model provider according to that agent's own settings. Excellent does not make that traffic local.

Local data lives under ~/.excellent/, or wherever EXCELLENT_DATA_DIR points. The database is a file; copy it to export it. There is no excellent export command and no excellent uninstall.

Delete everything Excellent recorded:

rm -rf ~/.excellent

That is irreversible.
